Job Description

As an Applied Science PhD intern in Redmond, you will analyze and enhance the performance of advanced algorithms on large-scale datasets, helping to push the boundaries of AI research and application. You will implement prototypes of scalable systems for AI solutions, leveraging your expertise to turn innovative ideas into practical implementations. Additionally, you will assist in the development of robust and usable datasets for modeling purposes, gaining hands-on experience in building cutting-edge AI systems within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
• Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve performance of algorithms on large datasets
• Think through product scenarios and fit them into ML tasks
• Implement prototypes for AI applications
• Prepare data for machine learning and modeling purposes.
