Summer 2025: Materials Engineering Intern

Job Description

As a Materials Engineering Intern, you will perform general analysis of metal and polymeric materials, including sample preparation, mechanical testing, thermal analysis, and failure analysis. You will design and conduct experiments, lead materials projects, and collaborate closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and technicians to support various initiatives. Your role will involve hands-on work with materials and provide valuable insights to improve product development and performance.

Requirements

• Working towards a B.S. in Materials Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a similar discipline
• Experience with or willingness to learn standard materials lab equipment
• Driven and able to lead projects
• Strong communication skills.
