Software Engineer, Metrics, AI Evaluation

Job Description

As a Software Engineer on the AI Evaluation team, you will design metrics using fleet data and run on inference clusters to impact end-to-end model architecture and data integrity. Your work will help ensure customer safety and drive decisions for FSD v12 customers, utilizing your computer science, ML, or robotics engineering background.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Robotics Engineering
• Strong Python coding abilities
• Exposure to NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation
• Experience with computer vision systems, ADAS features, path-planning, real-time embedded systems, sensor calibration, C++ and/or CAN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design metrics to evaluate model predictions and vehicle motion
• Create vector space visualizations
• Collaborate with AI researchers to evaluate and compare FSD models
• Drive projects from inception to completion and present to leadership.
