Sr. Electrical Engineer, Tesla Bot

Job Description

The Low Voltage Hardware team designs the electrical systems for Tesla Robots. Responsibilities include hardware ownership from design through manufacturing, ensuring interfaces with sensory elements, and delivering superior user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of analog & digital circuits
• Proficiency with circuit board design (Altium preferred)
• Experience shipping high-volume circuit boards preferred
• Basic programming ability (Python preferred)
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start-to-finish hardware ownership: specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematic, layout supervision, manufacturing, bringup, and validation of circuit boards
• Collaborate with various teams
• Document design requirements, calculations, and validation results
• Rapidly iterate as design requirements and features mature.
