Staff Electrical Engineer, Tesla Bot

Job Description

As part of the Self-Driving Hardware team, you will design the computing hardware that supports autonomous driving capabilities for Tesla vehicles and humanoid robots. Responsibilities include hardware ownership from design through manufacturing, ensuring interfaces with sensory elements, and delivering superior user experiences.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of relevant circuit board design experience
• Strong in high-speed board design (>5Gbps)
• Experience in high-performance processor, memory, and network I/O based complex motherboard design
• Proficiency with EE tools (oscilloscopes, BERT, etc.)
• Experience in shipping high-volume electronics products.

Responsibilities

• Hardware ownership: specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematics, layout supervision, prototype, validation, and manufacturing of circuit boards
• Design of electrical architecture, electronic circuits, processor selection and integration
• Collaborate with various teams
• Document design requirements and validation plans.
