Summer 2025: Mechanical Design Engineering Intern

Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern, you will write test requests to the Milwaukee test laboratory based on established standard procedures and support new product design teams. You will design new experiments and test systems, receive real-time feedback on designs through hands-on testing, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers an opportunity to engage with various aspects of product design and testing, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Student working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Ability to research new information
• Communicate technical status to Engineering Supervisor and project team.

Responsibilities

• Write test requests, design new experiments and test systems
• Analyze data and benchmark competitors
• Perform hands-on testing for design feedback
• Manage multiple projects.
