School To Work, Software Validation - ePowertrain Electrification and Controls

Job Description

As a School To Work Software Validation Intern in ePowertrain Electrification and Controls, you will develop and validate software for electric powertrain and shift systems. You'll support controls and software engineers in bringing products from concept to production by creating test cases for diagnostics, performance, and safety. Additionally, you will manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation to ensure product quality and functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Experience in software development and validation, HIL, C++, Python, CAN, LIN
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes validation plans
• Develops software test plans and specifications
• Maintains validation framework
• Designs and maintains HIL systems
• Reports on software quality metrics
