Job Description

As a Product Design, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Intern at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the design, engineering, prototyping, and validation of Apple’s next-generation hardware devices. You will contribute to the creation of innovative products that redefine user experiences and delight millions of customers. By working closely with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Packaging, Safety, EMC, and Marketing, you'll gain valuable insights into the collaborative processes that drive Apple's success in delivering exceptional products to the market.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field of study.
• Experience in product design, component modules, and knowledge of materials science fundamentals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, engineering, prototyping, and validation activities for all hardware product lines.
• Conceive, design, and bring into production innovative products.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate design, engineering, and manufacturing considerations.
