Product Development Applications Engineer

Job Description

As a Product Development Applications Engineer at KLA, you will provide crucial application engineering support for our inspection and metrology products. Your responsibilities will encompass new product introduction, customer support, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with software and engineering teams to diagnose product issues and develop effective solutions. Additionally, you will conduct customer demonstrations and provide technical training, helping clients to fully leverage the capabilities of KLA's cutting-edge technology. Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Material Science, or related fields. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with MATLAB, JMP, Power BI, and scripting in MATLAB or Python is preferred. Semiconductor equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product applications, focus on new product introduction, support customer sites, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document test results and lessons learned. Conduct technical training for engineers and end-users.
