Research Scientist Intern, Computational Photography (PhD)

Job Description

Reality Labs (RL) teams bring together a world-class R&D team of researchers and engineers to build innovative photo, video, and AR/VR experiences. The goal of this internship is to contribute to research projects and advance the state-of-the-art in computational photography.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields
• Full-time work authorization required
• 1+ year of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Computational Photography
• Proven track record with publications in top-tier conferences
• 2+ years of experience with modern C++ or Python
• 1+ year of experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and prototype advanced technologies in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Machine Learning
• Deliver research results that are publishable and impactful for Facebook or Oculus products
• Analyze efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of deployed technologies
• Collaborate with team members from research to product deployment.
