AI Research Scientist - Language (Technical Leadership)

Job Description

Meta is seeking Research Scientists to join our AI Research and Development teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Language AI topics and applying machine learning techniques to improve Meta’s products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in a faculty, industry, or government researcher position
• Ph.D. and publications in AI, machine learning, or related technical fields
• Proven track record of recent and consistent publication/citation history
• Experience leading a team in solving AI/ML modeling problems
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Help advance the science and technology of intelligent machines
• Work on research projects and define short to medium term objectives
• Publish research to influence progress in relevant communities
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to apply research to Meta’s product development
• Lead and collaborate on research projects within a team
• Design policies, processes, and methods for end-to-end systems
• Apply knowledge of machine learning systems and their interactions with other systems.
