Software Engineer, OS Frameworks - Reality Labs

Job Description

As an OS Frameworks Engineer on the Reality Labs team at Meta, you will help build innovative hardware and software that redefine the way people work, play, and connect. You will develop APIs at the system level and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class VR devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of experience with OS development, AOSP, iOS/Android, or device management
• Experience coding in C++ or Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of system-level frameworks for VR devices
• Collaborate with teams to develop end-to-end solutions
• Set technical direction for OS framework development
• Mentor team members and improve coding practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and enhance frameworks.
