Software Engineer - Language (Technical Leadership)

Job Description

Meta is seeking AI Software Engineers to join our Research & Development teams. The position involves applying machine learning and AI techniques to build intelligent language systems that solve some of the web’s most crucial problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
• Specialized experience in one or more machine learning domains: NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI
• Experience developing language algorithms or language infrastructure in C/C++ or Python
• Work authorization required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI and ML techniques to build intelligent language systems
• Develop custom architectures and evaluate methodologies
• Lead a team of engineers to deliver software solutions
• Mentor AI engineers and improve the quality of AI work across the team
• Communicate complex features and systems in detail
• Drive technical direction and assess industry-wide trends.
