Job Description

As a Compiler Optimization Engineer focused on MLIR and LLVM, you will identify opportunities for performance improvements in the LLVM-based compiler middle-end optimizer. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing new compiler analysis passes and optimizations, collaborating with geographically distributed teams to resolve issues, and contributing to open-source projects such as LLVM and MLIR. You will also work closely with GPU and software teams to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the compiler, driving advancements in compiler technology and optimization.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a M.S or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Background in Compiler Optimizations such as Loop Optimizations and Global optimizations
  • Hands-on C++ programming skills
  • Understanding of Processor ISA, GPU ISA preferred
  • Strong software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with distributed teams on performance improvements
  • Design and develop compiler optimizations
  • Participate in problem resolution and debugging
  • Contribute to open-source projects (LLVM/MLIR)
  • Support deep-learning compiler technology.
