Senior Procurement Analyst

Job Description

As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will provide category management excellence to clients undergoing procurement diagnostics, value capture waves, or full transformations. You will develop sourcing approaches, drive market research and insights, and deliver successful business results. You will also help shape McKinsey's procurement service line and be responsible for creating a best-in-class content repository for various categories. You will be involved in process improvements and driving business results, working alongside clients and senior McKinsey leaders.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or related disciplines with 3+ years of procurement sourcing experience. Must have knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and experience managing a couple million in spend. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, and exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills are required. Willingness to travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing approaches for various categories and ensure quality delivery to clients. Support procurement diagnostics, value capture waves, and transformations. Drive market research and supplier collaboration, identify savings opportunities, and contribute to McKinsey's procurement service line development. Provide category management excellence and help identify new solutions and trends in the procurement space.
