Job Description

As a Security Consultant Intern for Google Public Sector, you will provide guidance on building and maturing cybersecurity programs, helping to enhance the security posture of our clients. Your role will involve contributing to cloud-based customer environment reviews, identifying and responding to logged security events or misconfigurations, and ensuring that best practices are followed. Additionally, you will support the creation of whitepapers and customer-facing documentation, effectively communicating security strategies and solutions to various stakeholders. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in cybersecurity while collaborating with a team of experts dedicated to protecting client environments.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience with cybersecurity investigative processes and cyber defense.
• Familiarity with methodologies for identifying security vulnerabilities and regulatory gaps.

Responsibilities
