Job Description

As a Production Engineer Intern at Meta, you will bridge the gap between software and systems engineering, contributing to critical efforts that ensure the reliability and scalability of our platforms impacting over 2 billion users. You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams, writing code and debugging complex issues in live production for applications like Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as backend services like Storage and Cache. While relevant industry experience is a plus, your skills and proactive attitude are what matter most. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in *nix or Windows OS
• Coding experience in at least one language
• 1+ years with languages like Python, C++, Java, etc.

Responsibilities

• Own back-end services and front-end services
• Write and review code, develop documentation, and debug complex systems
• Collaborate with teams to maintain the reliability of services.
