Job Description

NVIDIA offers a dynamic internship opportunity where students work on projects that impact the business and gain hands-on experience in hardware engineering. Interns will collaborate with skilled professionals and contribute to one of the following teams: System Validation, Hardware Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Silicon Solutions. System Validation: Interns will validate datacenter server products, ensuring rigorous testing and debugging of new features in collaboration with Architecture and Software Design teams. Hardware Design: Interns will engage in hardware testing and validation, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure new products meet performance and quality objectives. Mechanical Engineering: Interns will be involved in crafting and testing new NVIDIA products, utilizing their strong academic background to research and develop innovative concepts and materials. Silicon Solutions: Interns will assist in productizing NVIDIA’s chips for diverse applications, contributing to consumer, professional, and automotive solutions. This internship provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the tech industry while developing valuable skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Programming skills in Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Perl, TCL, Board-Level Design, Datacenter Systems, Linux, CAD Software (e.g., Solidworks, ProE, Creo, etc.), Python, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to architect resiliency and safety features
• Model RAS and safety metrics
• Run simulations for memory analysis
• Work on compliance with functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
