Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

AECOM seeks an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join their Water business line in Murray, UT, supporting mining and civil infrastructure projects. This role provides a strong foundation for career growth, working with experienced engineers on geotechnical projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• EIT certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of GeoStudio, Utexas, Grapher, and AutoCAD Civil3D
• Familiarity with design reports, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee geotechnical exploration programs
• Assist with lab testing and data analysis
• Perform evaluations (e.g., slope stability, liquefaction)
• Prepare calculations and geotechnical reports
• Present technical findings
• Support instrumentation monitoring reports.
