Job Description

AECOM seeks an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join their Transportation team in Chicago, focusing on bridges, tunnels, and structural projects. This position provides excellent career growth potential, working under the guidance of senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
• Familiarity with MicroStation, SAP 2000, STAAD, and relevant standards (AASHTO, AREMA, Illinois DOT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering designs and calculations under supervision
• Create diagrams and final working drawings
• Use software to solve basic engineering problems
• Collect and analyze data
• Ensure work meets agreed budget and schedule.
