Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Firmware & Data Modeling intern to work on in-vehicle tools for performance and reliability metrics. The role includes developing data models, using physics-based methods, and working with embedded systems to detect faults.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Strong Python skills
• Familiarity with C++
• Knowledge of RTOS and sensor inputs
• Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for vehicle diagnostics
• Collaborate with engineers to refine and deploy models
• Manage firmware projects
• Work with live sensor systems and RTOS
• Support edge-based fault detection
• Contribute to end-to-end software development lifecycle.
