Software Engineering Intern - Motion Planning, Autonomy

Job Description

Interns will develop vehicle trajectory planning systems that control speed and path based on sensor inputs, map data, and vehicle tracking. Contributions include ADAS features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Highway Assist, alongside optimizing motion planning algorithms.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in C++ preferred
• Knowledge in motion planning, control theory, and AI/ML applications
• Experience with data-driven AI and ML techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for trajectory planning
• Collaborate with control systems to enhance ADAS functions
• Apply AI/ML techniques for motion planning
• Optimize algorithms for performance and reliability
• Work cross-functionally with software, sensor, and mapping teams.
