Manufacturing Analytical Scientist

Job Description

The Manufacturing Analytical Scientist role at Elanco involves supporting in-transfer, troubleshooting, optimization, and execution of analytical methods in the monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility in Elwood, Kansas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Bio/Pharmaceutical Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience working in a laboratory / quality control setting
• Detailed understanding of analytical characterization methods for biological products
• Experience working in a regulated environment and with cGMP standards
• Experience with HPLC, UPLC, ELISA, SoloVPE, CE-SDS

Responsibilities

• Support in-transfer and optimization of new analytical methods for product development
• Perform technical support and testing for development and commercial product release
• Author and review technical documents such as SOPs, risk assessments, and method validations
• Collect and analyze method data, present results, and evaluate new technologies
• Lead method-related investigations and root-cause analyses of OOS/OOE events
