Speed Modeling and Prototyping Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their Silicon Solutions team to work on optimizing chips for various solutions.

Requirements

• MS in EE, CE, Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in a related hardware engineering position
• Previous experience with silicon bringup, frequency and power characterization, PPA in PreSilicon or PostSilicon phases, tester-to-system correlation, lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQ)
• Familiarity with Perl, C/C++, Python
• Exposure to Windows, Linux, and Android OS environments
• Scripting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Understand chip HW features and intersection with speed characteristics
• Develop prototyping/validation strategies for chip features
• Prototype features on existing silicon and analyze benefits
• Design tools for automation of characterization, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis
• Collaborate with various teams at NVIDIA to bring industry-defining products to market
