Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer - Hardware

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Digital Design Verification Engineer to verify cutting-edge SerDes IPs that will advance gaming, AI, deep learning, and autonomous driving technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• At least 5 years of validated experience
• Background in verification at Unit/Sub-system/SOC level and expertise in SystemVerilog
• Experience in using random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies
• Experience in verification methodologies like UVM/VMM and exposure to industry standard verification tools
• Expertise in bus or interconnect protocols (e.g. PCI Express, USB, SATA)
• Experience in verifying complex SerDes systems and modeling of analog circuits
• Programming language experience in Perl, Python, C/C++
• Good debugging and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively in a team

Responsibilities

• Verification of digital design, golden models, and micro-architecture of SerDes IPs using advanced methodologies like UVM
• Building reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards
• Defining verification scope, developing verification infrastructure, and ensuring correctness of the design
• Writing and implementing test plans with a focus on product shipment
• Collaborating with architects, designers, and verification teams
