Senior System Power Validation and Applications Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Power Validation & Applications Engineer to work in the Datacenter System Engineering Team, contributing to the development of efficient power solutions for computing systems.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or related degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven understanding of power electronics fundamental
• Deep technical knowledge of telemetry and protection management
• Experience with power circuit design, magnetic design, modeling, failure analysis, etc.
• Proficiency with design & simulation tools, lab equipment setup, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, and program management skills

Responsibilities

• Implement datacenter system power validation requirements and permutations of alternates
• Perform validation of system power integration and management for HGX/DGX products
• Collaborate with power vendors, provide feasibility analysis, and review ODM power solutions
• Manage and execute system power bring up, triage, and debug
• Design and simulate power solution test platforms, provide feedback for product improvement
• Work closely with various teams to root cause bugs and issues
