Senior Signal and Power Integrity Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Signal & Power Integrity Engineer to lead board/system SI design activities, analyze and optimize power delivery networks, and work with high-speed electrical interfaces and simulation tools.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a SI/PI engineer
• Good understanding of electromagnetics, channel components, and transmission line theory
• Experience with high-speed electrical interfaces such as PCIE, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools like HFSS, Sigrity, Hspice
• Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB designer and constraints manager
• Understanding of impacts of high-volume PCB manufacturing on channel signal integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead board/system SI design activities
• System-level signal integrity simulation of various interfaces
• Analyze and optimize power delivery network (PDN) on PCBs
• Work closely with Package and PCB Design teams
• TDR & VNA measurement for PKG/PCB material characterization
