Senior Security Engineer, Purple Team - GPU Firmware

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated engineer with experience in low-level system software and a strong background in security to join the GPU Firmware team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of system software engineering experience with strong C-skills and low-level software development
• BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with threat modeling, formal design analysis, hardware/firmware architecture, and other demonstrable security experience in a defensive security-focused role
• Proven experience with secure coding practices and tooling - static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and code coverage
• Ability to collaborate and accomplish complex goals

Responsibilities

• Perform design and threat analysis of firmware and hardware designs to ensure security properties and robustness of products
• Build security roadmaps, whitepapers, and other documents for key features/products and work with key external partners
• Identify vulnerabilities in firmware, build proof of concepts, and drive remediation
• Evangelize and drive adoption of new or improved tools, practices, and plans to increase product robustness and reliability
• Work within a larger virtual security team on other parts of the GPU stack, as necessary
