Application Development Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Application Development Engineers to work on the characterization of semiconductor reticle inspection products, product value demonstration, customer support, and use-case demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Science/Engineering, Physics, or related studies
• No related work experience required

Responsibilities

• Characterization of next-generation semiconductor reticle inspection products
• Performing analysis, publishing results, and making recommendations
• Product value demonstration during beta testing and tools in the ramp phase
• Investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions
• Creating and sharing product value statements and use-cases with internal teams
• Conducting new tool demonstrations to showcase performance
• Worldwide travel required (10-60%) to support products at customer sites
