Optical Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Optical Engineers to troubleshoot and refine optics modules and manufacturing processes for complex deep-UV imaging systems. The role requires a solid understanding of optics theory and experience with design software and statistical analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Optical Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Experience with design software such as CodeV and Zemax
• Solid understanding of optics theory, especially imaging systems
• Practical experience with statistical analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and refine optics modules and manufacturing processes for deep-UV imaging systems
• Develop and maintain procedures, test fixtures, specifications, and train manufacturing, service, suppliers, and other engineers on optics build, alignment, and test processes
