Electrical Design Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Electrical Design Engineers to join their technology team. This role involves working on PCB design and system design projects.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with PCB design tools such as OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle
• Knowledge of electronic blocks such as power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs
• Experience with FPGA and firmware characterization and testing
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Produce PCB designs, schematics, and work closely with layout engineers
• Collaborate with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems
• Produce electrical system designs and work with mechanical engineers to ensure requirements are met
• Design power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, and supporting hardware
