Staff Algorithm Engineer (Image Modeling & Processing) (E)

Job Description

Staff Algorithm Engineers are core to KLA’s technology, focusing on algorithm solutions for advanced imaging systems for mask inspection.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
• Master or Ph.D. in Applied Math, EE, Computer science or related field
• Substantial work experience in image processing in advanced imaging systems
• Extensive knowledge of computational imaging and high-performance computing
• Experience in C++ production software development and object-oriented programming

Responsibilities

• Lead algorithm solutions development for advanced imaging systems
• Develop image modeling and processing solutions from requirements gathering to productization
• Become a subject matter expert in inspection algorithms for mask inspection
• Identify technical bottlenecks and contribute to the product roadmap
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize algorithms and system design
