Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer: Precision Motion Stages

Job Description

KLA is seeking a mechanical design engineer to work on multi axis motion systems for wafer scanning with nanometers level vibration and accuracy.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modeling tools
• Experience with motion systems, precision mechanics, or mechatronics
• DFM experience with machining, sheet metals, and castings
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Python or MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize electro-mechanical systems
• Design parts and assemblies using Creo/SolidWorks
• Perform analysis and simulations to optimize components for stiffness, accuracy, and manufacturability
• Present design reviews and work with vendors for various parts
