Systems Design Engineering Lead (Electron Beam Systems)

Job Description

Lead Systems Design Engineer for Ebeam division at KLA, a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 5 years of related work experience OR Master's Level Degree with 8 years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Level Degree with 12 years of related work experience
• In-depth knowledge of electron optics, vacuum systems, high-voltage systems, mechanical tolerances, error budget analysis, and system level design
• Experience in leading analysis, evaluation, and experiments in electron beam inspection equipment design
• Ability to guide multi-functional engineering teams, influence design reviews, and contribute to product roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Define specific requirements for sub-systems and drive various functional groups to craft an entire system
• Plan and lead experiments to make major architectural decisions
• Guide engineering teams to diagnose and solve system and sub-system level solutions
• Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and vendors
