Senior Electron Optics Engineer - EBeam Division

Job Description

KLA is seeking a dedicated engineer with a background in electron optics to join their E-beam technology team and work on developing groundbreaking electron optics systems.

Requirements

• Background in electron optics, electron detection/conversion, simulations, electron sources, SEM systems, vacuum, and electronic instrumentation
• Hands-on experience in high voltage, ultra-high vacuum, and electron microscopy
• Experience with scripting, Matlab, and statistics packages such as JMP
• Ability to work independently and in teams with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Generate electron optical designs, error budgets, system requirements documentation, and verification test plans
• Communicate system requirements with other specialists and lead cross-disciplinary teams
• Design experiments for charged particle optics system characterization and risk retirement
• Hands-on execution of experimental plans, analysis, and presentation of results
• Work with outside vendors to source key components and provide Scope-of-Work documentation
• Some travel for vendor or customer engagement
