Electrical Engineer - High Power

Job Description

KLA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Central Engineering Group in Ann Arbor. The engineer leads the designing, detailing, and testing new electrical sub-system for the next generation of KLA tools!

Requirements

• High-power design experience (>200V, >100A)
• Experience with 3-phase circuit design
• Proficiency in PLC programming
• Knowledge of communication Fieldbus protocols
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and LabVIEW
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD
• Passion for working on groundbreaking technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design electrical parts, modules, and subsystems
• Lead the entire design process
• Conduct various analyses
• Program PLCs
• Create conceptual and detailed designs
• Procure prototype parts, integrate systems, test prototypes
• Develop supporting documentation
• Collaborate with other engineering groups
• Partner with suppliers
