Job Description

KLA is seeking a Product Development Engineer to work within the Broadband Plasma products division, contributing to the development of inspection systems using expertise from multiple technical disciplines.

Requirements

Strong background in engineering or the physical sciences
Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, opto-mechanics, and motion control systems
Experience with scripting languages such as Python
Enthusiastic communicator with the ability to provide detailed guidance to colleagues

Responsibilities

Perform requirements analysis, system design, and testing of complex inspection systems
Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to define system architecture
Support internal and external customers in implementing processes to optimize tool performance
