Rivian is seeking a hardworking engineer to deliver global programs within the Mass Attribute team, optimizing customer attributes for their Electric Adventure Vehicles.
Requirements
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
5+ years of experience in the ground transportation or aerospace industries in an engineering/analytical capacity
Functional understanding of EV systems and vehicle components such as Battery, Powertrain, and Chassis
Background in applied statistics or Six Sigma subject areas
Experience in Minitab and Visual Basic scripts in Excel
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
Solid understanding of CATIA – 3DExperience
Responsibilities
Generate system level mass targets and vehicle targets
Perform mass modeling, axle load calculations, and generate axle rating targets
Track mass status, communicate progress against targets, and provide guidance to various attribute teams
Conduct statistical analysis of prototype/production data and regulatory load rating labels
Work closely with homologation team for regulatory requirements
