Triage Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on autonomy software engineering and help guide development processes for Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of professional experience in Software Development/Operations
• Understanding/knowledge of modern ADAS systems/features
• Experience with issue investigation and working with cross-functional teams
• Experience with data analytics and quality metrics
• Ability to read and understand code (Python/C++)
• Experienced with management tools such as Jira, Confluence, JAMA
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and continuous integration concepts

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple software teams and feature engineering teams to root cause vehicle and system-level issues
• Develop and maintain automated frameworks for issue identification, classification, and reporting
• Ensure bug reports have sufficient information for diagnosis and prioritization
• Review & analyze simulation reproducibility for real-life events
• Identify issue trends and create KPIs and dashboards
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software fixes
