Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex full-stack applications for supply chain needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degrees
• Advanced proficiency in Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases
• Experience in frontend development using JavaScript/Typescript
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS Services, Lambdas, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
• Unit testing and test-driven development experience
• Experience with Agile Development

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and release complex mission-critical full-stack applications
• Design and implement backend code using Python, AWS Services, Lambdas, NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application features
• Ensure good software architecture practices are followed
• Perform unit testing to deliver high-quality software
