Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Platform Developer Experience Engineer to join their team and play a key role in streamlining the software development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and maintaining the internal developer platform.

Requirements

• Strong CI/CD Expertise
• GitLab Administration
• GitOps Experience
• Kubernetes Experience
• Experience in using tools like GitLab CI, Crossplane, k8s, ArgoCD, React, Typescript, NodeJS, Go, Backstage, Helm, Terraform, Kubecost, AWS

Responsibilities

• Design and build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Integrate GitLab CI with version control, testing frameworks, and deployment platforms
• Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage application deployments using ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments
• Maintain the GitLab instance and enforce best practices
• Define and implement a robust production readiness process
• Create and maintain standard components in the Internal Development Portal
