Sr. Development Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Development Engineer to support system analysis and testing for electric vehicle development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• 3+ years of automotive experience
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAN/ETH analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee HIL, Lab Car, test asset integration
• Lead issue reporting and resolution for ADAS, Software integration
• Define and execute Mule vehicle commissioning and functional checkouts
• Objectively and subjectively evaluate vehicle operation
• Transform high-level observations into defined problem statements
• Document software and hardware defects
• Support remote site testing
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to shop technicians and manufacturing teams
