Display Metrology Engineer

Job Description

Apple's Display Metrology Engineer position involves designing and developing solutions for calibrating, characterizing, and testing display modules and components for Apple products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Applied Science, or Engineering with 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience working in metrology of display products (OLED, LCD, LED) with a strong passion and curiosity about this area.
• Experience in display design, characterization, calibration, or test, or in optical instruments, such as CCD/CMOS camera, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, or color science, image processing, and machine vision.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to define calibration & measurement requirements and propose optimal solutions.
• Develop, characterize, and validate industry-leading display metrology methodologies and solutions.
• Develop test sequences that control optical instruments, electronics driving boards, fixture controllers, and display modules.
• Conduct failure analysis of measurement systems and define corrective actions.
