CPU Silicon Bringup and Debug Engineer

Job Description

Join Apple's CPU silicon bringup team to develop and deploy tests on silicon as part of the bring-up plan, contribute to hardware irritators design, and optimize FPGA models.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Academic understanding of CPU architecture and microarchitecture
• C and assembly programming skills
• Experience in scripting

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy tests on silicon as part of bring up plan with extensive knowledge of the design internals
• Reproduction of silicon failures on FPGA/Emulation
• Contribute to design of hardware irritators to validate features on silicon and pre-silicon
• FPGA model build and methodology for ECO verification
