Wireless Firmware Test Engineer

Job Description

The Wireless Connectivity Silicon team is seeking wireless FW test engineers to ensure the quality of wireless silicon for application in Apple's products and assist in automation development.

Requirements

• Bachelors +3 years of experience
• Proven experience as a Silicon firmware test engineer
• Experience with automated test and continuous integration frameworks
• Proficient in scripting and debugging (Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of embedded SW fundamentals and low-level hardware interfaces

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various engineering teams to develop FW test plans
• Develop test infrastructure and continuous integration flow
• Work on test plan development, setup, and reporting
• Build test setups and develop FW test cases
• Support development in debugging and issue reproduction
• Build test result dashboards and support bug triage meetings
