iOS Software Engineer — Interpersonal Safety

Job Description

As an Interpersonal Safety Software Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for investigating, developing, and implementing solutions to address threats related to the abuse and misuse of Apple products and services, with a focus on user safety.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Objective-C, Swift, or C++
• Familiarity with product safety topics such as child safety or trauma-informed design
• Ability to translate technical information into a compelling narrative for various stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 3 years of industry experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving existing iOS features in Objective-C and Swift
• Implementing new solutions to enhance safety within the Apple ecosystem
• Collaborating with various teams within Apple and external partners to ensure user safety
• Supporting cutting-edge initiatives for safety-by-design principles and best practices
