Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowledge of CPU architecture and micro-architecture
• Experience with performance and power simulation environments
• Experience working with design and implementation teams
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl or Python

Responsibilities

• Analyze single-threaded and multi-threaded workloads to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with CPU designers to refine and implement novel performance ideas
• Maintain and enhance the simulation environment for data-driven decision-making
• Iterate on ideas to solve timing and power efficiency challenges
