Software Engineer - Apple Services Engineering (ASE)

Job Description

Apple is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop world class privacy-focused platform services that enables many product features and privacy preserving experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience
• Experienced in designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable web services
• Resourceful with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative with clear communication and relationship-building skills
• Curious with the desire and ability to independently learn
• Self-directed with the ability to drive projects from idea to production
• User-focused with emphasis on user experience and data privacy
• Leadership skills to leverage individual abilities for results

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams across Apple to develop features and functionality for new experiences
• Improve scalability, availability, and performance of services
• Evolve design and architecture to support growth across multiple dimensions
• Partner with SRE to investigate and remediate production issues
