Thermal Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking a world-class Thermal Engineer to ensure thermal objectives are met in the design of Apple products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on Heat Transfer or Fluid Mechanics
• 10+ years deep technical and functional expertise in conduction, convection, and radiation
• Numerical modeling techniques and concepts
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of the fundamental physics associated with heat and fluid flow
• Apply understanding to complex design problems
• Effectively convey key conclusions through illustrative post processing
• Clearly communicate technically complex material within cross-functional design teams
