Reliability Engineer - Home

Job Description

As a System Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying high-risk failure modes early in the design process and working closely with design engineering teams to reduce those risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Material Science Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in a related field or industry
• Experience performing reliability testing including mechanical stress tests, shock/drop/vibration testing, environmental testing
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities

• Developing new reliability tests procedures and specifications
• Preparing concise and detailed test plans and analyzing test reports
• Statistically analyzing data to provide design risk assessments
• Presenting tests, results, and risk assessments in a confident and positive manner to management and executive teams
• Researching new technologies to understand unique failure mechanisms
• Guiding design and interacting with diverse groups to improve product reliability
